Benefit They're Real Liner..❤️

Here are my first impressions of Benefit They're Real Push Up Liner:-)

I bought the smaller version to start with as i had heard quite mixed reviews (mostly bad) about it, but i was dying to try it i got it for £9.50 from boots. On the first try i loved it! Nothing else i've tried is like it, I'd describe it as a push up kohl liner with a  flexible rubber applicator that makes it 10 times easier and quicker to apply with the perfect line everytime that lasts all day with no smudges! I'm so excited to try out the new colours (Brown, Blue, Purple & Green) and it's only £18.50 for the larger size! I'd highly recommend it and have no idea at all where the bad reviews come from, i think it's amazing - great value for money! Give it a go:-)

Birchbox July 2015❤️

Here is everything that i got in my July Birchbox. This month it was in a little pouch with a zip, perfect to store your beach essentials in on holiday!

POP Beauty eye-shadow trio in Peach Parfait - £15.50
This little eye-shadow trio is the perfect size just to put into your make up bag if you don't want to take a huge palette or lots of individual eye-shadows - the colours are so pretty and are neutral shade so they'll go with anything!

Spa To You 100/180 grit nail file - £2.99
A nail file is always an essential for me in my handbag. I would never use any less than a 180 grit nail file on my natural nails though as i find its too harsh and causes them to snap easier - but every nail file is different, its just finding the right one for you. This one seems good for my nails! (Tip; only file your natural nails in one direction)!

Unani Aloe Vera Gel - £15
Aloe Vera is perfect for sunburn - it soothes the redness and itching and this is completely odorless so you don't have a horrible overwhelming smell when applying!

Soigne Nail Polish in Menthe - £11
I had never heard of this brand before i started getting Birchbox, but i'm so glad i have now. The polishes are such good quality and come in such amazing colours - this one being a perfect summer colour!

Benefit Dream Screen - £25
This is the cutest bottle of sun cream I've ever seen (you get a much bigger size for £25 don't worry)! Apart from that i wish i had the sunny weather to benefit (ha!) from using this! It's SPF 45, matte finish, fast absorbing and promises to keep your skin hydrated - what more could you want?

BioNike Cleansing Water - £12.20
I love trying out new cleansers, so this is perfect! It is particularly good for those of us with sensitive skin as it's fragrance free! The best part is that you don't need any water, all you do is massage it onto your face with your fingers and use cotton pads to remove - which will remove any make up whilst giving your face a good cleanse!

Birchbox June 2015❤️!

Here's everything I got in my June Birchbox❤️!

This month's Birchbox was in partnership with 'French Sole' who have really pretty shoes, sandals & bags!

REN Instant Firming Beauty Shot | £36 30ml
I haven't tried this yet but Birchbox describe this as 'a shot of espresso for your complexion'  they also say to apply 2-3 drops to clean skin or that you can pat it on over your make-up, it is supposed to plump the skin, diminish wrinkles, firm and tone the skin.

STYLondon Temporary Metallic Tattoos | £7.99
I don't think i'll use these just as normal temporary tattoos but i will probably cut them up to use as nail art instead! There are 3 different packs you can choose from on the Birchbox website.

Penhaligon's Iris Prima | £85 50ml
This smells absolutely amazing, it's got a scent you can't really describe or compare to anything. I definitely would not pay the £85 for it despite how good it is.

Mirenesse iCurl Mascara | £24
I love the brush on this mascara, its really curved and i find those easier to use as they can grab more lashes. It lasts all day, keeps the curl in your lashes and doesn't smudge! I have quite sensitive eyes and it doesn't irritate them at all. To remove i just use my Micellar Water, but you are supposed to be able to apply warm water to your lashes and the mascara should then come off in tubes.

Balance Me Super Moisturising Body Wash | £9 200ml
This has been great at getting rid of my dry skin, it really is 'super moisturising'. It has a really light citrusy scent which isn't too strong or overpowering.

HIP Ultra Shine Shampoo | £19 200ml
This shampoo smells very minty and refreshing, it would be great first thing in the morning to help wake you up a bit. I haven't tried this yet, but I'm very excited to!

In this month's Birchbox you got a free shoe bag to match the box you picked, i love how pretty and colourful my one is!

Benefit Roller Lash❤️

As you probably know by now I love trying new mascaras out, so when I seen this I had to! I wasn't really a fan of Benefit's 'They're Real' but I really love Benefit make-up so I was hoping for the best. I am absolutely obsessed with it, I love the fact that I don't have to use eyelash curlers with it as it is literally like you've had rollers in your eyelashes and makes them so curly! To apply, I start at the base of my eyelashes, wiggle and 'roll' the brush around to the top. I then do the same with my bottom lashes. I initially thought the wand was plastic (which I normally hate) but it's more like rubber as its softer and more flexible, it's got a hook like design so that it can grab every lash, which it does! It stays on all day with no smudges (no panda eyes here!) It's also really easy to remove, I just use my micellar water, it comes right off and doesn't leave any on your lashes. I also really like Benefit's 'BADgal lash' mascara, so I'd really recommend them both! I might just have to give 'They're Real' another try!

Give 'Roller Lash' a go, you won't regret it!

May Favourites 2015❤️!

Here are some things I have been loving and using a lot in May! Hope you enjoy!

The Body Shop Ginger anti dandruff shampoo £4.50 250ml
                £6.50 400ml
I go through stages where I can have absolutely no problem with dandruff or the complete opposite and have a really itchy scalp. I don't like using head & shoulders as I've found it strips the colour from my hair, I've tried 'soak & float' from Lush which worked amazing but I really couldn't get over the scent so I tried this. It's worked so well to get rid of my itchy scalp and dandruff, smells amazing and leaves my hair so shiny and soft. I'd highly recommend it, even to people who don't suffer from dandruff!

The Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet - £12.00 50ml
I've had really dry skin on my face for a while now and I've been trying everything to help it! I've been using the Yes To Carrots day cream but I like to have a back up to try incase I fancy a change, so I bought this. You can really feel it helping your skin from the first use, it's extremely lightweight and takes almost no time at all to sink into your skin and is very moisturising. It is also a brilliant base for make up!

I've never used a primer that has actually worked for my skin and that I've loved before, until this! It's a gel formula, blends well into the skin and feels actually quite moisturising. It keeps my make up in place all day whereas normally my make up just disappears off my face (where does it go?!). It applies really well over any moisturiser I'm wearing too! You get a bigger size than the one pictured for £29, my one was a sample from a Birchbox.

This is my second bottle of this, it is just so amazing and lasts for so long. I put off getting a new bottle for ages then seen it for £2 on offer in Sainsburys! It has 4 oils in it (Almond, Argan, Macadamia & Rose) which all work together to make your skin extremely moisturised and smelling amazing! The best thing about it is that it sinks into your skin really quickly and doesn't leave a horrible oily residue, you notice a difference in your skin almost instantly!

I've been wanting Soap & Glory to make this into a body spray for soooo long, it's my favourite scent ever! Even better it's so cheap! They have made a couple more scents of body spray too so I'll have to go back for a little test of those ones!

I got this on offer for £2 from Sainsburys as I needed a night cream & you can really feel it working to moisturise your skin when you put it on. It has Almond oil in it which makes your skin really soft. I often get quite itchy and red skin after taking make up off and this helps take the itchiness away, in the morning my skin feels so soft after using it!

Hope you liked this post, Ashley❤️

Empties❤️

Here are some products I've used up over time, some I've liked and some I haven't:-)

I like trying lots of different things for my hair and I got this on offer for £4 I think so decided to try it but it didn't really do anything for my hair. I think it would be good for people with quite thin hair, I also didn't really like the scent as it was a herbal scent.

I got this little sample in a Birchbox a while ago and it is amazing! Since I finished it it has been out of stock everywhere I've looked but I've found it in  Boots. It smells so fruity not at all like Rose and is so moisturising but not sticky!

This is a really fresh fruity scent, I'd say it's perfect for summer because it's not too strong.

The Body Shop frosted cranberry shower gel - Christmas Limited Edition
I wish you could get this all year, it's quite fruity and smells like a mixture between the body shop's honeymania and berries. It's really moisturising and it's lasted me from Christmas so a little goes a long way! I've got a bath jelly in the same scent so I'm not too sad about finishing this:-)

I got this foundation as a Christmas present and I had always wanted to try it, I used the shade 'Honey'. It has light to medium coverage and is oil free, and it has a brightening effect.

Lush Mask of Magnaminty - £5.50 125g
                                         £9.75 315g
I love trying face masks and when I bought this I was having a lot of breakouts, I don't really like the scent of it which is quite minty. It did help to get rid of my spots and I like that the evening primrose seeds and aduki beans in it give you light exfoliation when your are removing the mask, but I don't think I'd purchase it again.

I really love the Yes To range. Yes to Carrots & Yes to Cucumbers are my current favourites as I have quite dry and sensitive skin and they are actually quite moisturising. I really want to try the Yes to Coconuts range next so I'll let you know what it's like:-) Certain items in the Yes to range are 3 for 2 in Boots right now!

Lush Cynthia Sylvia Stout Beer Shampoo
£4.50 100g
£8.95 250g
£14.75 500g
I got a sample of this beer shampoo from Lush, it's so good. It made my hair so soft and shiny and It doesn't smell like beer it smells of lemons. It had stout, lemon juice and vinegar in it which are all amazing for your hair, I'd highly recommend this!

Have a look on the Lush YouTube channel to see Cynthia Sylvia Stout being made here; https://youtu.be/QWiAxxGAQIE

Birchbox May 2015❤️

Here is what I got in my Birchbox this month:-)!

Mirenesse Mattfinity Lip Rouge in Sydney - £21 7g (https://www.birchbox.co.uk/shop/mirenesse-mattfinity-lip-rouge)
This is a really pretty colour but I think it's a bit bright for me, it feels like a really nice smooth formula that wouldn't dry your lips out like normal Matte lipsticks can.

I've not used sea salt spray before but I'm definitely going to give this one a try, it has a really fruity scent which is really nice. It also has almond oil in it which will make your hair really soft and moisturised.

I'm quite excited to try this as I really love hair masks. Not sure I could justify spending £36 on a bottle though. It has Shea Butter, Sunflower and Jojoba Seed Oils in it which will all work well to make your hair really soft and shiny.

Jelly Pong Pong bronzer duo in Martinique - £15.95 (
https://www.birchbox.co.uk/shop/jelly-pong-pong-caribbean-sun)
I have never used bronzer, so I probably won't use that side. I will use the blush as its a nice peach colour rather than pink, it is infused with argan and mango butter so will go on lovely and smooth to compliment your skin.

Whish three whishes Almond body butter - £14.50 150ml (https://www.birchbox.co.uk/shop/whish-three-whishes-almond-body-butter)
I'm really excited to try this, I love trying out new body butters and this one is supposed to be a non greasy one so that's even better! Also it smells amazing so that's a bonus. It has Shea butter & raspberry butter in it to help with dryness and this body butter also acts as UV protection!

WAH London press on nails in 'The Pink Brush' - £9 (24 in a pack, available in different designs)
I've never heard of this brand before, that's why I love Birchbox - you get to try lots of different brands and products you've maybe never heard of before. They also make different designs of false nails, nail polish & nail art pens so I'll definitely be trying more from this brand!
