Star Crushed Minerals - First Impressions..♥

Hey everyone, I've been so excited for this to arrive to show you!

 These beauties are all from starcrushedminerals.com and there is SOO much choice! They also have glitter, foundation and eyelashes!! I can't wait to make another order for more highlighters, some glitters & eyelashes. They all come packaged inside bubble wrap so that there's no damage with lots of little shiny confetti stars and a little pack of starburst! So cute!

I bought two highlighters and five eyeshadows, i love them all!

From left - right;

Platinum Eyeshadow 0.5g $3 (£2.35)

For this eye look i first used Tequila Sunrise as a base, i then took Ms Monroe and Olive Pink and blended them together all over my lid. I used Skinny Dipping to give a bit of extra sparkle along the top, took underneath it all and ice queen highlighters along my waterline, then finished off with underneath it all in my inner corner and Ms Monroe with Platinum under my eye. (I also used Soap & Glory Supercat Eyeliner and Icona Milano Mascara) This makes a super easy everyday look!

The Melt Crowd - August..❤

Hey everyone:-) Here's what i got in August's Flamingo Candles Melt Crowd Box..❤

Tropical coconut milk & honey - has a very sweet tropical scent, smells similar to Malibu with a hint on honey! An amazing scent to help remember the summer!

Lilac - This has a very nice fresh scent, it has a light similarity to Lilies which i normally don't like but this isn't too strong or overpowering.

Coastal Path - This smells sooooo similar to the perfume Cool Waters, it's really nice and fresh but not too strong.

Black Tea & Almond - Has a light tea scent but mainly smells of almonds, smells exactly like Marzipan.

Cactus - I love really fresh scents and i think this will become one of my favourites! It's hard to describe but has a similarity to Pine.

I Carried a Watermelon - This is an amazing really sweet melon scent and it makes me want to eat it whenever i smell it!

White Musk - I usually hate white musk scents, this really isn't too strong and has more of a fresh linen scent.

Welsh Cakes - I think this has been my favourite out of this box! The easiest way to tell you how it smells is that if you imagine a cinnamon (yum!) it also smells exactly like Starbucks apple mulled fruit (which is my fave!)

Espresso - This one wasn't on the little card inside the box so i'm not sure if it was a mistake or an exclusive melt crowd scent melt but i was really surprised that i liked it. It's not too overpowering or sickly, it's actually a nice sweet coffee scent and i'm sooo excited to burn it:)!

Glossybox August 2016..❤

Hey everyone! Here's everything that was in my August Glossybox;

Cowshed - Wild Cow invigorating body lotion; £20 for 300ml (pictured 30ml)

This body lotion has a really nice fresh scent, quite lemony. It melts into your skin really quickly too so you don't get that horrible sticky feeling! 

MUA Glitter Ball palette - £4

This palette is truly beautiful, the picture does it no justice. They have a really long lasting formula, and last all day, even without any primers! The bronze shade is my favourite, its super sparkly. Also, with 12 amazing colours for only £4 who can really grumble??

Spa To You - Deep pore cleansing brush - £6.99

I'm so looking forward to trying this, i am really bad at being lazy with cleansing etc. so i think this will encourage me! The bristles are so soft and it also has silicone cushions which will gently massage your skin.

Mudmasky - Facial detox purifying recovery mask; £60 for 60ml (pictured 20ml)

I love face masks. I'm really excited to try this one as it claims to hydrate and brighten your skin, which is what mine desperately needs. Although i wouldn't see myself paying £60 for it.. At the moment they have 20% off this product for all Glossybox subscribers, the code is on their website. I'll report back with how i liked it.

The Melt Crowd - Flamingo Candles..❤

Hey everyone! I am in love with this new subscription box I got so I had to share it with you!

I am addicted to subscription boxes, so when I seen this I knew I needed it. It's called "The Melt Crowd" by flamingocandles.co.uk it is a wax melt subscription box which is only £10 a month! You receive 8 wax melts (which have a value of £2 each) and with your first box you get a free warmer! You will receive 8 different melts with no repeats for at least the first 3 months then after that you may begin to receive repeats. 

In my first box I got; WILD Strawberry Millions, Pina Colada, Cheesecake Crunch, Lemon Curd, Gin & Tonic (apparently it's world gin day on the 11th June, any excuse to drink gin I'm all for it;) 3 of them were The Melt Crowd exclusives, those were; Chilli & Coriander, Peach and Beach Please.

My favourite one was Lemon Curd. Its smells exactly like Lemon Curd but with a hint of vanilla. It melts really fast so it doesn't waste your tealight, they last for up to 30 hours burning time. I was surprised by the Chilli and Coriander one, I didn't think I'd like it but it's a really nice fresh scent! There wasn't a scent I didn't like and I already can't wait for my next box!

Hey everyone:-) here are some of the things I've been loving recently. I had a hard time narrowing it down this month! 

 

Mac Velvet Teddy (matte finish) - £15.50

My best friend bought me this for my birthday in January because she knew I was desperate to have it! I am addicted to it, I wear it almost everyday with a lip liner I have had for years that goes perfectly! It's just the perfect colour for every occasion. 

 

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush body spray - £4

This is by far my favourite scent from Soap & Glory. It's so fresh and fruity, I use it all year round too! It smells like fresh limes and vanilla! Yum!!

 

Make Up Revolution Pink Lights Highlighter - £3

Spectrum Collections Tulip Powder Brush - £8.99

This highlighter is the most perfect thing ever, paired with this brush it glides on your skin so well and you only need a tiny bit and it lasts all day. The brush is currently sold out on the Spectrum Collections website but is available on the Birchbox website!

 

The Body Shop Satsuma hand cream - £4

The Body Shop's hand creams are my all time favourite! I'm not ashamed to say I go through a lot of them in a year! They just work & smell the best, they're so moisturising and don't go that horrible sticky way like some do. They're also available in so many different scents.

 

Soap & Glory Supercat Eyeliner Pen - £6

I am absolutely rubbish at doing my eyeliner! So i thought I'd give this a go as it was the pen style. It makes the application soo easy and precise and stays on all day! This and the Benefit They're Real Push Up Liner are the only two I've actually been able to do my eyeliner with!

 

L'Oreal Infallible 24H foundation - £9.99

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge - £5.99

I'm always on the hunt for a new foundation as I'm always getting dry skin and nothing seems to please my skin! So I decided to try this (shade vanilla) but with a sponge instead of my usual brush. This foundation stays on my skin all day (which none normally do!) I use the sponge damp, just soak it in water and it'll double in size, squeeze out the excess and you're good to go! It applies my foundation/concealer better than anything else!

Birchbox March 2016..♥

Hey everyone! Here's what I got in my March Birchbox♥..

Model Co More Brows - £13 for 3.5ml

I'm not really a fan of doing anything to my eyebrows apart from waxing. I'm scared I'll end up with two centipedes on my face! So i will probably pass this on to a friend who will use it.

Polaar, Polar Night Cream - £32 for 100ml

Ever since i got this, i have been using it. My skin has been soo dry lately and i have no idea why. Nothing has been helping it (I've even stopped wearing make-up for a while)! This has instantly helped from the first use, it really absorbs into the skin well & doesn't leave a horrible sticky layer! Give it a go!

Regenerate Enamel Science Advanced Toothpaste - £10 for 75ml

I'm not even ashamed to admit that i was most excited about this because its sparkly! But actually, it has helped my sensitive teeth alot from using it twice a day. It works to make your teeth whiter & reverse early enamel erosion.

Amika Nourishing Mask - £19.99 for 250ml

I love trying out new hair products, so i was excited to see this! First of all it smells sooo good, its also amazingly hydrating and magically gets rid of split ends. This helps my dry hair a lot!

Arrow Boost Colour Enhancing Lip Balm - £11

I've been loving this lip balm! i initially thought it was just a plain old lip balm, but it's so much more! It accentuates your own lip colour so it's unique to everyone who wears it, so it isn't just clear, it looks like you've put a colour on! What's even better is that it's cruelty-free, vegan, paraben-free and even gluten-free!

Indeed Labs Hydraluron Moisture Boosting Mask - £19.99 for 4 masks

These are amaaaaazing for dry skin, as soon as you put the sheet mask on your face it feels instantly hydrating. Leave it on for about 15 minutes and once removed just massage the remaining serum into the face. The hydrated feel last for ages after you've had it on. (They're also great for giving people a fright)!

February Beauty Favourites..❤

Hi everyone:-) Sorry for the lack of posts:-(.. But I'm back, so here are some of my favourite products just now!

Soap & Glory The Perfect Ten - £10

I have been loving this eye-shadow palette lately. I actually bought one in the boots sale at Christmas then got another for my birthday, so I'm well stocked up! It has every shadow colour you'd ever need, you can create so many different looks with it. 

Soap & Glory Peaches and Clean Deep Cleansing Milk 200ml - £8

I have fallen in love with this product It is soo easy to use! All you need is a couple of pumps applied to a wet face, massage it in, wipe it off and it honestly melts the make-up off your face. Then all you need it your favourite moisturiser! An added bonus is that it smells amaaazing!

Hersheson Kirby Grips - £3.99

This may be a strange favourite to have, but we all know how annoying it is to go for a Kirby grip and they all seem to have vanished (where do they go)?! This little tin helps me keep them safe so I don't have to buy a pack every two weeks! The Kirby's that come in it are also really good, I have really thick hair and they help keep it secure and they don't bend out of shape. I can't find the exact one I have but found similar (linked in title).

The Library of Fragrance Cherry Blossom 30ml - £15

I am obsessed with The Library of Fragrance, I just want all the scents! This one is a light fruity floral scent which I think is perfect for during the day, I wear it to work and I always get compliments on it. It reminds me of the bath bomb 'Sakura' from Lush. You can also get a smaller 15ml purse spray size for £10 (http://thelibraryoffragrance.com/products/cherry-blossom-purse-spray-15ml)

Make Up Revolution Eye Foils - £4 each

These are really beautiful when on, and very easy to apply. They're unlike anything I've ever used. All you do is take a small scoop of the colour, pop it on the metal tray, apply a couple of drops of the provided primer, mix it up and then apply. You can build it up or just leave one coat for a more sheer sparkly look. It stays on for hours and doesn't crease. I'd very highly recommend this to anyone. Colours from top; Emerald Goddess, Rose Gold (my fave), Black Diamond & Pure Platinum.

Kiehl's Mango Lip Balm #1 15ml - £8.55

I was suffering with dry, chapped lips with this horrible cold weather. This lip balm had been about the only thing to help. One of the best things about it is that it isn't sticky, so your hair wont get all caught in your lippy! You can also get Pear, Cranberry, Mint or Original.
